L-N boys golf

The Lawrence-Nelson boys golf team traveled to Clay Center, last Tuesday, for the Sandy Creek Invitational played over the Crooked Creek Golf Course. The 18-hole match featured teams from Doniphan-Trumbull, Superior, Sandy Creek, Red Cloud, Fillmore Central, Sutton, Centennial, Thayer Central, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Heartland Lutheran, Exeter-Milligan, Blue Hill and High Plains Community.

The Raiders finished in second place with the team score of 356.

The Raiders were at the Red Cloud Golf Course, Tuesday, for the Blue Hill Invitational. Match results were unavailable at press time.

Conner Janda led the Raiders with his round of 89 which was good for eighth place in the individual standings. Krayton Kucera was off the course with 90 strokes. Wyatt Hajny carded a round of 92. Toby Kotinek had a round of 97. Wyatt Brockmann finished with a round of 101. The four lowest scores compile the team score.

Clay Williams had a round of 93 in junior varsity play. Bayln Bargen had a score of 111.

Lawrence-Nelson travel to Hastings today (Thursday) for the St. Cecilia Invitational being contested over the Southern Hills course.
