The Superior High School boys golf team competed at the Sandy Creek Invitational played over the Crooked Creek Golf Course at Clay Center last Tuesday. The 18-hole match featured teams from Doniphan-Trumbull, Lawrence-Nelson, Sandy Creek, Red Cloud, Fillmore Central, Sutton, Centennial, Thayer Central, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Heartland Lutheran, Exeter-Milligan, Blue Hill and High Plains Community.

The Wildcats played the Blue Hill Invitational, Tuesday, at the Red Cloud Golf Course. Match results were unavailable at press time.

Superior finished in 11th place at the Sandy Creek Invite, with 448 strokes, in the 14-team field.

Carsyn Koening led the Superior squad with his round of 104. Taygun Rothchild carded a round 109. Aaron Allgood and Ashton Grassman posted rounds of 111. Tate Streit was in with 116 strokes. The four lowest scores are used to tabulate the team score.
