Nuckolls County among the lowest tax burdens statewide

Another tax season has come and gone. While nearly half of all Americans think they pay too much in taxes, tax burdens can vary significantly across state and county lines.

SmartAsset released a study

that analyzes income, sales, property, and fuel taxes in each county. Places where people paid the least in these categories were the places that ranked highest in the study.

According to the study, Nuckolls County has one of the lowest tax burdens in Nebraska.
