Catholic parishes enjoy Divine Mercy Pilgrimage

 

Catholics from south central Nebraska had the opportunity to visit sites in Eastern Nebraska two weeks ago as they took what was call the "Divine Mercy Pilgrimage." Above, the group pause long enough for a picture.

COVID-19 changed a lot of things over the past two years. One of the changes was the annual Pilgrimage to Catholic churches and shrines that originated out of Lawrence, and the three Catholic parishes in the area.

However, that changed for 2022 as Father Harrison made arrangements for the trips to resume as the effects of the pandemic were getting less severe.

On Tuesday, April 26, a bus load of parishioners from the surrounding parishes left for the 2022 pilgrimage.

This year's trip took them to Boys Town near Omaha; St. Cecilia's Church in Omaha; St. Mary Magdalene Church; the Cloister...
