A special meeting of the Mankato City Council was held on May 3. Present were Councilmen Becker, Ost and Dauner. Councilman George Hennion appeared via Zoom. Also present were Sharon McCormick, city clerk, Darrell Miller, city attorney, and Nikki Harrison of the Kansas League of Municipalities.

The purpose of the meeting was for consideration of applications for the position of Mankato City Administrator.

The council went into executive session for a period of one hour to discuss non-elected personnel under the provisions of exception of the Kansas Open Meeting Act.

The executive session ended with no action taken.
