Central Community College-Grand Island honored about 385 graduate candidates May 6 during its 36th annual commencement ceremony.

Thirty-eight of the degree candidates achieved an accumulative grade-point average of 3.75 or higher during their college career and graduated with honors.

Recipients of degrees and diplomas from the area were:

Associate of Science Degree: Neika J. Buschkoetter, Lawrence

Associate Degree in Nursing: Lauren N. Johnsey, Blue Hill
