Avery Ostdiek places third in archery competition

 


Avery Ostdiek was one of the four Lawrence-Nelson students who made the trip to Louisville, Kentucky, for National Archery. Avery competed in four shoots total, NASP Target, NASP/IBO 3D, Centershot Target and Centershot IBO 3D. She improved her scores with each shoot.

Avery received third place in the Centershot IBO 3D with a score of 265-300. In this event there was a total of 94 elementary girls. Out of these girls, 53 of them were fifth graders. This advances Avery to shoot at NASP/IBO – World in Louisville, Kentucky, and NASP/IBO Outdoor World 3D Challenge in Pennsylvania.
