Local student qualifies to compete at world's largest junior high rodeo

 


Oakley Ward, an eighth-grade student at Superior Public School, has earned a position on the Nebraska state-provincial National Junior High rodeo team and will be traveling with fellow teammates to Perry, Ga., June 19 through 25 to compete at the 17th annual National Junior High Finals Rodeo (NJHFR) in the team roping competition.
