Ladies' Cow Chip Open hosts 27 golfers

The Lawrence Country Club was the gathering place for 27 golfers wanting to try their luck at winning the Annual Ladies' Cow Chip Open on Sunday, June 5. A beautiful day greeted the women, with the exception of one short passing shower in the afternoon. Winning the coveted trophy was Peg Kohmetscher with her two- round total of 71.

Joining Peg in the championship flight was second place Tami Kohmetscher (76), third place Beth Himmelberg (79), fourth place Laura Herz (81), and fifth place Makenzie Kohmetscher.
