Margaret Louise Duffey, the daughter of Millard Berkley Shadduck and Mary Catherine (Heater) Shadduck, was born March 24, 1932, near rural Republic, Kansas and died on June 15, 2022, at the Smith Center Health and Rehab, Smith Center, Kan., at the age of 90 years, 2 months, and 21 days.

Margaret grew up in rural Republic, graduating from Republic High School in 1950. On February 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to James R. Duffey. To this union was born: Lori Ann, Staci Jo, and Tina Louise.
