A former Jewell County resident who returned home to help with harvest, lost her life in a motor vehicle accident last Thursday.

Vickie Vetter Fenner of Conway, Arkansas was the driver of a semi-truck which overturned about 4 p.m. Thurday.  The accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. on K-28 northwest of Jamestown in Cloud County, Kansas. 

The Kansas Highway Patrol report said Vickie Fenner was heading east when the semi-truck she was driving overturned on a 90-degree southbound curve. The rig came to rest on its top. The semi was pulling a grain trailer.  The patrol’s on-line cr...
