Vickie Fenner

 


Vickie Lorraine Fenner was born Aug. 6, 1955, in Concordia, Kansas. She was the first born daughter of four children born to Clifford and Nevada Vetter. Her surviving siblings are Elaine Peters, Nancy Buser and Phil Vetter. She married her high school sweetheart, Scott Fenner, on May 26th, 1974 (48 years). Together they have three children, Jennifer Fenner, Christina McDaniel and Daniel Fenner.

Vickie enjoyed playing cards and time with her children and grandchildren. She liked attending all of their numerous activities, which included cheer competitions, orchestra concerts, shooting sports, softball games and gymnastics and ninja classes. Vickie enjoyed serving in her home town of Conway, Arkansas, as well as her childhood home of Randall, Kansas. She had many talents she used in a variety of ways in her life. Her main talent was touching people’s lives. She never met a stranger in her lifetime. Those strangers would become friends and friends would become family to her. Her legacy was to love and she loved everyone around her. Vickie was also deeply loved by her family and friends.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Nevada Vetter. She is survived by her husband, Scott Fenner, her three children, Jennifer Fenner, Christina (Chris) McDaniel, Daniel (Paige) Fenner and six grandchildren, Barrett Fenner, Jade McDaniel, Braelyn McDaniel, JaLynne Fenner, Elizabeth Fenner and Essie Fenner.

Her legacy will be honored with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Beloit First Christian Church in Beloit, Kansas as well as at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at Conway Nazarene in Conway, Arkansas. In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Randall Community Center in Randall,
