COVID-19 roaring back stronger

 


COVID-19 is proving to a stubborn character to deal with. When it was first reported, many thought when summer came it would, like the more common flu, go away. That hasn’t been the case. In fact the Omaha World-Herald reported on Tuesday that the full-on summer season of 2022 is providing no relief from COVID-19 with cases and hospitalizations in Nebraska on the upswing.

Nebraska reported 3,535 new virus cases for the week ending Friday, up from 3.474 the week before and 2,752 the previous week.
