Members of the Jewell County Historical Society are preparing to host their 44th annual threshing bee and antique farm machinery show this weekend in the Mankato City Park.

This year’s featured tractor is a 1941 International H which has been restored and will be given away during the show.

Events included an expanded small engine show on Saturday.

There will be antique tractor pulls, rock crushing, steam saw mill, a chainsaw artist on the grounds, steam threshing demonstrations, black-smithing, horseshoing, kiddie tractor pulls, various games, flea market, corn shelling, straw baling, daily parades and many food options.

The Good Sam Club band will play Friday night and Saturday morning. There will be a free dance in the park on Saturday evening.

People from all over the Jewell County come together to support the event as shown by the number of businesses who purchased advertisements for this edition.
