Rodney Wayne Follmer, the son of Gary and Shirley (Jenkins) Follmer, was born on April 2, 1967, in Kokomo, Indiana. He died July 19, 2022, at the Bryan LGH Medical Center West at Lincoln, Neb., at the age of 55 years, 3 months, 17 days.

Rodney was baptized on Oct. 4, 1970, and confirmed on May 10, 1980. He attended school in Superior graduating from Superior High School. After graduating, Rodney enlisted in the United States Air Force on Sept. 6, 1985, serving as a defensive fire control systems specialist. He was honorably discharged as a sgeant on June 17, 1991.
