The Nuckolls County Board of Commissioners met at the county courthouse in Nelson, Monday. All three commissioners were present.

The board approved an expenditure of up to $30,000 for the HSeriff’s departmenet to purchase ballistic shields and hemets with embedded communitication gear.

The board awarded contracts for three county road department projects. The contracts are for the installation of culverts at three sistes. Bauer Construction of Martell. The low bids for the three projects was $179,000.
