The Jewell County commissioners Steve Greene, Brent Beck and Keith Roe met Aug. 15. Carla J. Waugh, county clerk, was present for the meeting.

Keith Roe was appointed voting delegate for the KWORCC Annual Meeting with Beck as the alternate voting delegate.

Cindy Becker, health administrator, discussed selling the 2009 Dodge Journey with 123,000 miles. She reported on the billing and accounts receivable for COVID testing and immunizations. She discussed nursing services they provide to the jail. Dakot Alvarez will be attending the Child Passenger Safety Certification Class. They received the blood analyzer. She also discussed school immunizations and they are preparing for Monkey Pox. They are expecting a shipment of flu vaccine in September.
