Fifty-one descendants of Alley and Wilford Riley Porter joined together for a picnic at the Nelson Park, Sunday, Aug. 16. They had a cooperative dinner and reminisced with many stories of the second generation. They were Owen Pierce Porter (1898 - 1986), Nora Marie (Porter) Troudt (1900 - 1998), Nina Mae (Porter) Bruce (1902 - 2003), Velma (Porter) McKevitt (1904 - 1988), and Wilford Raymond Porter (1908 - 1971).
