The community of Formoso plans to host a Fun Day on Saturday, Sept. 17, honoring the memory of a longtime community resident, business owner and booster, Dorothy Sjolander.

According to the advertisement in this issue, the day will begin at 10 a.m. with a parade around the park and continue with activities like a bake sale, corn pile for the youngsters, noon lunch, silent auction, cake walk, balloon pop, ring toss, corn hole and guess the pumpkin weight games, dance on the tennis court and beer garden.
