Southern Nebraska residents who would like to be more informed about the upcoming general election are invited to attend a meeting Monday night at the Davenport Community Center.

Guest speakers will be Kirk Penner a member of the Nebraska State Baord of Education, Jim Pillen, a candidate for governor, and Jessica Shelburn, the state director of Americans for Prosperity and a woman with ties the Nuckolls County community of Oak.

The meeting is being sponsored by the Nuckolls, Thayer, Clay and Fillmore County GOP.
