The Superior High School cross country team hosted the Superior Invitational run over the Superior Country Club course, Thursday.

The boys field had full teams from McCool Junction, Fillmore Central, Grand Island Central Catholic, Fairbury, Hatsings St. Cecilia and Blue Hill. Schools with runners who did not fiied a full team were South Central USD 5, Thayer Central, Superior, Deshler and Silver Lake.

Colten Butler took 20th place for Superior with his time of 21:54.260 over the 3.5 kilometer course. Kash Wenske was in 40th place with the time of 25:48.775.
