The Jewell City Council met in regular sessionon Tuesday, Sept. 6, at City Hall. Those in attendance were Mayor Darrell Bohnert, Council members, Josh Burks, Max Burks, Gaye Daniels, Bob Freeman, Derek Birdsell and Kristie Anderson, city clerk.

Sheriff Don Jacobs discussed a resident’s temporary holding a dog for Mankato resident.

Library board members, Marsha Ericson and Stacey Delzeit, discussed the library applying for a grant and paying the 10 percent down to have solar battery chargers that attach to benches at the lake or in the city park.
