It was a rough week for the Lawrence-Nelson volleyball team as their strength of schedule continues to handicap the team. The Raiders went 2-3 in their last five matches. The week started off well with a hard fought three-set, 25-23, 25-23 and 25-17 win against Friend at Friend last Tuesday. A visit to Deshler, Thursday, resulted in a four-set, 13-25, 25-22, 25-20 and 17-25 loss to the Dragons. Lawrence-Nelson hosted a tournament Saturday and they were rudely treated by their guests.
