With more than 30 sale locations listed in the directory prepared by the Nelson Community Club, Saturday is the day for community garage sales in Nelson.

An advertisement in this issue of your newspaper contains a listing of the sale locations.

In addition to providing an opportunity to purchase needed items, the community garage sale time is a good time to clean house and dispose of unwanted items. Goodwill Industries and Catholic Charities will be maintaining collection points in Nelson this week. It has been suggested shoppers should first clean their homes of unwanted items and donate the items to one of the charities so they will have a place to store the treasures purchased at the the garage sales.
