2022 L-N Homecoming court

The 2022 Lawrence-Nelson Homecoming king and queen candidates include (from left) seniors, Keaton Mazour, Tyson Kotinek, Katelyn Mazour, Emily Troudt, Erik Wheeland and Krayton Kucera.

Freshman representatives: Natalie Jacobitz, daughter of Josh and Stephanie Jacobitz; Caden Culbertson, son of Cole Culbertson and Sherrice Fitzgerald

Sophomore representatives: Madalyn Kennedy, daughter of Dan and Leah Kennedy; Carter Griffis, son of Travis and Sara Griffis

Junior representatives: Bailey Ceder, daughter of Aaron and Jessica Ceder; Connor Janda, son of Phil and Michelle Janda

Kindergarten crown bearers:

Kimber Bargen, daughter of Brad and Tammy Bargen; Knox Schroer, son of Phillip and Lacie Schroer

2022 homecoming king-queen candidates are:

Katelyn Mazour - Katelyn is the daughter of Phil and Denise Mazour, and sister to Peyton, Hayden and Brooklyn. She is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, FCA and NHS. She is the president of student council, the president of HOSA, reporter for FBLA, and the senior class secretary. Outside of school, Katelyn is involved in her youth group. In her free time she enjoys time with friends, going to the lake and shopping. Her plans after high school are to attend CCC in Grand Island for medical assisting or occupational therapy assisting.

Emily Troudt - Emily Troudt is the daughter of Casey and Joni Troudt and sister to Cole. She is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, NHS, FCA and FBLA. She is the student council vice president, HOSA vice president, and senior class treasurer. She is involved in her youth group outside of school and enjoys time with family and friends and watching Netflix. Emily plans to attend CCC in Hastings and major in dental assisting or business.

Tyson Kotinek - Tyson is the son of Kris and Peggy Kotinek and brother to Trevin and Toby. He is involved in football, basketball, track, FCA and NHS. Outside of school he is involved in youth group. In his free time he enjoys fishing and golfing. He plans to attend SCC in Beatrice.

Krayton Kucera - Krayton is the son of Greg and Teena Kucera and brother to Kenzee and Mattee. He is involved in football, basketball, golf, FCA, NHS and is the FBLA treasurer. Outside of school, he is involved in youth group and enjoys golfing. He plans to attend UNL and major in business administration.

Keaton Mazour - Keaton is the son of Craig and Amy Mazour, and brother to Avery Mazour and Carlie Pohlmeier. He is involved in football, basketball, track, FCA, FFA, FBLA, NHS. He is the secretary of student council and the senior class president. Outside of school he is involved in youth group and enjoys playing XBox in his free time. He plans to attend SCC and major in diesel technology or diversified ag.

Erik Wheeland - Erik is the son of Kevin and Renae Wheeland and brother to Megan Wheeland and Austin Mundorf. He is involved in football, basketball, track, FCA, NHS, drama and quiz bowl. Outside of school, he is involved in the United Church of Christ Youth Group. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, watching movies and hanging out with friends. He plans to attend UNK or CCC in Kearney and is undecided on a major. He hopes to find a career in turf grass management or landscaping.
