SHS football loses to Sandy Creek

The Superior High School football team is still in search of that elusive first win as they fell to the Sandy Creek Cougars 48-6 at Sandy Creek Friday. The loss left Superior with an 0-5 record for the season.

Sandy Creek took the lead in the first quarter and never looked back. They led 12-0 at the end of the first quarter. Superior was not out of the game when the half rolled around as they only trailed 19-6. The Cougars came out roaring in the third quarter and put the game out of reach with two touchdowns to lead 32-6 as the teams headed into the final 12 minutes of play. Sandy Creek score...
