Joyce Darlene Snell, 87, the daughter of Leonard O. and Maude B. (Young) Bailey, was born April 2, 1935, at Edgar, Neb. She died Sept. 21, 2022 at the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings.

Joyce received her formal education attending the Edgar schools and graduated with the Class of 1952. She then moved to Clay Center where she was employed at the courthouse.
