SHS football scores first win of the season

Superior won the game in front of the home fans at Brodstone Memorial Field Friday afternoon. It was the first win of the season for the Wildcats.

It was a time in coming but the Superior High school football team scored their first victory of the season with a convincing 73-32 trouncing of McCool Junction at Brodstone Memorial Field Friday.

Though the weather was cool and partly cloudy, the Wildcat offense was hot and the defense was more than adequate to hold the opposition at bay.

The Wildcats will travel to Sutton today (Thursday) for their season finale game. Superior is ineligible for post-season play as they are a C-2 school playing one class down in 8-man football.
