The USD 5 Red Raiders competed at the Southern Nebraska conference meet run over the Fairbury High School course Thursday.

Rowan Jarosik took top honors with his time of 17:15. He also won the Twin Valley conference meet. Sean Heaton finished in 29th place with the time 20:39, a marked improvement from his previous race over the Fairbury course.

Both runners will look to secure a berth at the state championship meet when they compete at the District -2 meet being run over the Elks Club Golf Course at Hastings today (Thursday). The meet is hosted by Hastings St. Cecilia.
