The Red Cross Blood Mobile will be back in Nelson on Friday Nov. 4., at the city auditorium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Regular whole blood donors can donate every eight weeks. It will be exactly eight weeks since they were last in Nelson on Sept. 9. Power Red Donors can donate every 16 weeks and they were in Nelson on July 11, which makes them eligible also. 

There’s always an urgent need for more blood  donations. Sixteen year olds can start their journey with parental consent. You’re never too old, as long as you are in good health.

Walk-ins will be taken, but may have to wait a while, since those with appointments take priority.
