Sacred Heart Altar Society held a Fall Festival Saturday

The Sacred Heart Altar Society held a Fall Festival Saturday evening. This event replaced the annual smorgasbord that had been held in the past. Events for the day started with mass at 5 p.m. followed by a smoked pork chop or roast beef dinner, wine and beer tasting provided by On the Brix of Red Cloud, childrren’s corner where children could make Christmas ornaments, decorate cookies, play games, and color, as well as numerous raffles for adults, children, quilt and wall of spirits.

The altar society officers were grateful for all who brought salads or desserts and worked. Prior to the event, an online auction was held by Montgomery Auction Services. There were 62 items on the auction block. The event was well attended and fun was had by all.
