The Jewell County Commissioners met Nov. 7, with Commissioners Steve Greene and Brent Beck were present. Carla J. Waugh, county clerk, was present for the meeting.

Glen Anthony Wyatt made a donation of $20,000 to the sheriff’s department and $10,000 to the road and bridge department.

Joel Elkins, general superintendent, had an agreement for the bridge inspections with PEC for a total of $70,750. The agreement was approved.
