James Harman Davis

James Harman Davis of Hebron, the son of Paul and Evelyn (Harman) Davis was born Nov. 13, 1953, in Superior. He died Nov. 3, 2022.

Jim grew up in Hastings, attending school and graduating from Adam Central.

Jim worked 28 years for Tec Pitre Automotive in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he received his NIACE master mechanic award five different times. He also trained 11 techs to get to be master mechanics. He worked for Rauner Repair in Hebron, from 2010 to 2013 before retiring because of his health.

Jim married Patricia Burda July 30, 2009, in Hastings.

Jim was a Boy Scout leader for the Royal Rangers and Pioneers for Christ where he was commander and senior commander.

He like working on different things especially cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Hayes Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Davis of Hebron;, son, Ryan Burda of Chester; daughters Toneya Davis of Peoria, Arizona, Michelle Kapperman of Milford, Nebraska, and Angela Robinson of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

His funeral was held Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Hebron Bible Church in Hebron. Officiant was Pastor Jeff Friesen.
