The Rock Hills High School boys and girls basketball teams open their 2022-2023 season Friday when they host the Pike Valley Panthers at Mankato. They travel to Clyde, Tuesday, for a game with Clifton-Clyde.

The boys’ team is coached by Zach Duffy. Wyatt Flynn serves as the assistant coach. The team compiled a 4-16 record last season.

Senior team members on the roster are Ethan Kenworthy and Troy Duskie. Sophomore members are Cam Ward, Cooper McDill, Christian Wurm and Eli Vance. Freshmen members of the team are Hunter Frost, Ethan Wirth, Kiplee Kussman, Whitley Frost, Spencer Lindberg and Kaden Wurm.

The girls’ team is coached by Nick Mizner. He is assisted by Jaid Runft. The team compiled a 11-10 record last season.

Senior class members of the team are Selena Luong, Austyn Groote, Danica Frost, Lauren Whelchel, Paige Zadina and Isabel Navarro.

Grace Ayers and Hannah Simmelink represent the junior class. Allison Ost is the sole sophomore on the team. Freshmen class members are Halle Mizner, Emma Strand, Peyton Zadina, Alex Fogo, Amber Wilden Katherine Ost and Nakita Mohler.
