RHHS girls drop two at T-Birdtourney

Members of the Rock Hills High School girls basketball team are (back row, from left) Emma Strnad, Nakita Mohler, Alex Fogo, Katherine Ost, Allison Ost, (middle) Amber Wilden, Halle Mizner, Grace Ayers, Hannah Simmelink, Bethany Simmelink, (front) Lauren Whelchel, Danica Frost, Selena Luong, Paige Zadina and Isabel Navarro.

The Rock Hills High School girls basketball team picked up fourth place at the T-Bird Invitational Tournament,

They won their opening round gam. against Pike Valley. They then lost to Clifton-Clyde, at Clyde, 47-28, last Tuesday. Linn handed the Grizzlies a 60-32 loss, at Concordia, Saturday. The Grizzlies hosted St. John's -Tipton, at Mankato Tuesday, with game results unavailable at press time.

Lauren Whelchel dropped through 17 points against Clifton-Clyde. Danica Frost tallied five points. Halle Mizner netted four points. Hannah Simmelink came through with two points.

Frost led the Grizzlies scoring with 11 points against Linn.

Rock Hills returns to action Tuesday, Jan. 3, when they host Red Cloud at Mankato.
