The Lawrence-Nelson boys basketball team picked up a win Friday at Nelson when they downed Diller-Odell 47-26 to even their record at 7-7. The team hosted Blue Hill at Nelson Tuesday with game results unavailable at press time.

Diller-Odell took the first quarter lead at 9-5. That was the last time they led. The Raiders held the Griffins to one point in the second quarter while scoring 13 to take an 18-10 halftime lead. Lawrence-Nelson kept pulling away to wrap up a 20 point, 47-27 win.

Krayton Kucera dropped through 12 points to lead the Raider scoring effort. Nolan Ostdiek accounted for 11 points. Clay Williams banked 10 points for the team. Toby Kotinek netted seven points. Bayln Bargen and Aiden Zikmund posted two points apiece. Connor Janda and Keaton Mazour each sank a free throw for one point. Ostdiek picked off five rebounds. Kucera and Erik Wheeland landed four rebounds each. Toby Kotinek, Tyson Kotinek and Williams provided three rebounds each. Janda landed two rebounds. Mazour and Devyn Zikmund had a rebound each.


The Raiders host Silver Lake at Nelson Friday.

The Raiders open Twin Valley Conference Tournament play Monday when they take on the Red Cloud Warriors at Kenesaw. The Raiders enter the event as the number six seed. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m.
