The Jewell County commissioners Brent Beck, Keith Roe and Ed Duskie met Jan. 23, with Carla Waugh, county clerk, present.
Chris Petet, custodian, discussed the snow blower and requested permission to get quotes for a new one.
Don Jacobs, sheriff, discussed hiring personnel. Don had a quote from Visual Labs Inc. for replacing six body cameras. The commissioners approved smartphone body cameras from Visual Labs Inc. for a total price of $4,260.00.
Joel Elkins, general superintendent, reported that they worked on Sunday to move snow....
