The Superior High School boys basketball team encountered rough sailing at the Southern Nebraska Conference Tournament held at Centennial High School, Utica.

They dropped their opening round game last Monday at Milford, 49-31. Their consolation round game, Saturday, went little better as they lost to Thayer Central 50-35. They bounced back with a 49-43 win over the Smith Center Redmen at Smith Center Monday. The Wildcats sit at 4-16 for the season. Statistics for the Thayer Central and Smith Center games were unavailable at press time.
