COVID grants help with improvement at JC Health Dept.

 


The Jewell County Health Department has undergone many changes over the last several months. Thanks to the COVID grants the department has applied for and received, updates to the building and surroundings were made. To provide safety for staff and the public, an area was designated just for COVID. So far, with funds from the grants the department built a 12’x20’ utility shed with electricity intended to use for COVID testing, vaccinating, and storing heavy equipment utilized for off-site vaccine clinics.
