The Big Kansas Road Trip (BKRT) is quickly approaching. BKRT Road Books are out and can be found at different locations. Happening May 4 through 7, there will be many attractions throughout Jewell County including “Pie on the Porch” from 2 to 3 p.m., in Burr Oak on Friday, tours of the Limestone Jail, and a mammoth scavenger hunt in Mankato. Sheets for the Mammoth Scavenger Hunt can be picked up at Mahin Insurance weekdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., or Possibilities from 8 a.m. to 3p.m., on Saturday.
