Area students receive scholarships for Central Community College

About 280 new and returning students have received scholarships for the 2023-24 academic year at Central Community College in Grand Island, Holdrege, Kearney and Lexington. Local students receiving scholarships are Chandler Amack, Superior, the Wendell and Frances Starr Scholarship and the Academic Opportunity Scholarship; and Katelyn Mazour, Lawrence, the Transition Advantage Scholarship and the Peter Kiewit Foundation Scholarship.
