Tessie Bartholomew

Tessie Lorraine Gray Bartholomew died May 17, 2024, in Allen, Texas, two days before her 96th birthday.

Tessie was born in Superior, Nebraska, to Albert and Clista Gray on May 19, 1928, the sixth of nine children. She graduated from Superior High School.

Tessie was married to John Bartholomew in 1946, in Fremont, Ohio. They farmed near Hardy, Nebraska, and Webber, Kansas, before buying a farm south of Mankato, Kansas, in 1958, where they lived until moving to town in 1979. Tessie helped her husband on the farm.
