Supreme market animal award winners for the beef, swine, sheep and goat divisions each receive a chair. The award is calculated on a combination of the exhibitor's live placing, the animal's ultrasound placing and the rate of gain.
While we suspect many Nuckolls County residents are still playing catch-up after investing many hours attending and helping with the 2024 Nuckolls County Fair, the dates have already been picked and planning started for the 2025 fair.
Fair dates are Monday, July 28, through Saturday, Aug. 2. It will be the 150th anniversary fair and fair board members are hoping to do something special for the special anniversary edition.
