A new statewide blue catfish regulation has been proposed to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Commission. The proposed regulation would allow ten blue catfish to be harvested per day with only one fish 30” or longer allowed. Lovewell Reservoir would be included in this new regulation. The next commission meeting is scheduled for Aug. 29 in Independence, Kansas.
