The Superior High School football team takes to the turf at Brodstone Memorial Field, Friday, where they will take on the Class C-1 Fairbury Jeffs in the 2024 season opener.
The Wildcats are making a return to 11-man football as they return to Class C-2 play after two seasons of 8-man football at the D-1 level.
The team has a new head coach, Ryan Renz, while returning all the players from last season's roster.
Derek Clark, Cannon Blauvelt and Andrew Diehl are serving as assistant coaches. Treg Vyzourek and Blake Erikson are the volunteer assistants with Cooper Blauvelt as the student manager....
