Ted Ehlers selected as Claes Nobel Educator

A former Nuckolls County resident, now serving as the Junction Ctiy High School's JROTC instructor, Sergeant First Class Ted Ehlers has been selected as a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction by the National Society of High School Scholars.

As a role model to pupils, Ehlers was nominated by a high school student for his outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in the profession. Ehlers oversees the school's Blue Jays JROTC Raider team and helped lead them to three-straight national championships.
