The Superior High School football team struggled against a tough Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinal team at Doniphan Friday.
The Cardinals opened up a 16-0 first quarter lead. Superior scored a touchdown but unfortunately the Cardinals added two more touchdowns to take a 30-7 lead at the half. The Wildcats narrowed the score to 30-13 in the third quarter. The Cardinals added eight points in the fourth quarter to take the home-field win, 38-13.
Lincoln Sander was 8 for 13 in the passing department for 36 yards.
