Many attended the Nelson Community Club Fund-raiser
Deb Koehler pictured above, has been a very busy individual. Setting her sight on organizing a fund raiser for the library. She decided to have a 'you name it, you claim it' garage sale. The garage sale was held in her beautiful home, which was delightful to attend. Cleaning out her basement of all unwanted things supplied the garage sale with many beautiful items. Turn-out was high for the sale, Deb donated all the proceeds to the Nelson Public Library. She also had a 'you name it, you claim it' garage sale in Clay Center, proceeds benefitting the CC Elementary School. When her son was in the military, Deb created a 'Operation We Care' fund raiser through her church, which greatly impacted service men and women everywhere.
The Nelson Community Club sponsors various events, activities and scholarships for the Nelson community. Last weekend, they organized a fund-raiser that will directly impact the Nelson Public Library system. The event was located at1654 Road 3800, along a country road just outside of Nelson.
The club sponsored a garage sale, the proceeds going to the Nelson Public Library. This garage sale is always fun to attend, because buyers name the price on the things they want to purchase.
