Jewell County Health Department has received 20 doses of seasonal influenza intended to vaccinate farmworkers in Kansas. To receive the vaccine for free, the person must be a farmworker in Kansas who works with livestock. This includes but is not limited to poultry, cattle, dairy and swine. Patients must be 19 years of age and older. This is regardless of insurance status but emphasis will be given to those who are uninsured or underinsured.
