Matthew “Matt” James Howell, 39, of Formoso, Kansas, died peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, at Hilltop Lodge Nursing Home in Beloit, Kansas, surrounded by his family after a brief but courageous battle with kidney cancer. He was born on May 1, 1985, in Salina, Kansas to James and Nancy (Weir) Howell.
